Okay so this will be a little bit different since it’s the reunion. Honestly I love these reunions because we get a fresh batch of dirt and drama that almost always carries over into the next challenge. Also it’s a time to see what horrendous fashion choices the competitors are currently making. Looks like Laurel’s lion mane is exhibit A. I won’t do as much straight recapping as I have in the past and try to limit it to my opinions and observations. Here we go…

-Laurel wins the award for worst hair. Will they pay her $100,000 for that? When will that show be starting? Cara Maria might give her a run for her money though.

-I hate the filler on these shows. I remember what happened. No need to remind me. Especially this stuff that happened last week. I’d rather see some outtakes and more interviews. These people yell enough that I’m sure they said some interesting things. No need to recap MTV, honestly. Plus you’re showing stuff that happened in the last couple of weeks. We don’t need the refresher.

-Mike and Leroy were not rookie superstars. They were lucky. They only got by because they won the last challenge. Otherwise they were going in to the JUNGLE. Mike talks about how they never finished last, but they can thank other people DQing for that one. I’m sorry Mike, I just wasn’t that impressed with you two. Leroy might be a force to be reckoned with in the future, but on this show, you guys just avoided the fray. Everyone wanting to get CT eliminated saved you two.

-Once again…I hate these video recaps. These are a waste of time. We are talking about how Wes carried Kenny for the first half of the show, then vice versa in the final challenge. Wes is getting made fun of and deservedly so. Wes is explaining that he was sick and dehydrated and that’s why he dragged the team down. I wonder what his excuses were for the other finals he has crapped out on?

-Now we have the segment where we go over all the fights in the house. This should be interesting. It’s about to get loud. I still don’t know why Jenn didn’t get sent home for that slap.

-Sidenote: Cara Maria’s bead salesman is a rich man or woman.

-Jenn is yelling a bunch. That’s really all she has is yelling at someone. She’s all bark and no bite. She may have a bite, but I haven’t seen it. She’s going to make some man very miserable one of these days.

-All of these fights are pointless. Everyone interrupts everyone and doesn’t let anyone talk. Paula is coming off a little childish not letting Laurel talk. Jenn is joining in on the protection of Paula against Laurel. Laurel may not be sincere with her apology as this is the second time that she’s gone guns blazing against someone, but this time she has a bit of a proper place. Paula started talking smack and Laurel was protecting her partner. She wanted to get in on the act of making fun of people and made herself fair game. Deal with it.

-CT seems to have a good attitude about how he is viewed so long as he gets to go on vacation. Hopefully one day this guy can win a challenge. Ev tells it like it is. Guys have jealousy of CT. I gotta say I’m on Team CT at this point. If anyone can stick around long enough they can turn into a good guy. Adam shedding tears about this is confirming all these good feelings about CT. Hopefully he will be on the next challenge.

-Johnny Backpacks always comes off looking like an a**hole on these reunions. He talks over everyone, he yells to make a point, and doesn’t wait his turn to speak. CT is trying to explain some things and Johnny just won’t let him have his moment in the sun. I hope these guys are partners on Rivals 2. Or at least on opposing teams in the near future and CT’s team wins.

-Girl time. Snooze time. All of this stuff has been hashed out on the show. But thank you for Cara Maria for making fun of Johnny. He really can’t stand not being the center of attention. Which is probably why he is suing Entourage for usage of his nickname. Which might be the most ridiculous thing since that one moron years ago sued McDonalds for serving him hot coffee without warning him it was hot. This segment is boring me to tears. I thought they’d put this at the end.

-Now we have the hookup section of the show. Mandi isn’t looking too good after that segment. So Jenn is allowed to go off on Adam, but Laurel isn’t allowed to go off on Paula. Double standard exists apparently. Adam is feeling a little jilted by Jenn. Jenn is screaming at Adam for no real reason. Adam is feeling embarrassed and I don’t blame him. Jenn was ashamed of him and that’s why he is upset. No one wants to be the pity case. Poor guy. Now I guess Laurel slept with Paula’s ex. The plot thickens. I don’t know where to go from here either Maria Meneneneneous. One place it is going…Jenn and Laurel will be teammates on Rivals 2.

-My favorite segment…the stuff they always should have shown. This way it looks like these people have fun on these shows. Having an hour of it next week will be enjoyable.

-Mike’s most memorable moment was sleeping with Paula. And he thinks he was her key to victory. He may be right. Kenny lets us know he will be back for another challenge. Speaking as his #1 fan, I have to say I am excited. And I hope he will sell me his jersey.

Ok, that’s it for this week. Hopefully I’ll be back next week for the outtakes and clip show. If not, hopefully I will see you come next challenge season.
